The Greatest Baby Gift of All Time!
Sorry, Kanye got control of our keyboard, but we're back now.
We have compiled a list of the top books you can gift to new parents that will last them until their children are preschool age and beyond! These books are all specifically chosen because they target social interaction and language development through repetition, rhyme, and simple language. This gift has been a huge hit every time we've bundled the books by category and put them in decorative boxes from Michaels for easy storage. With the limited storage space in New York City, the last thing a new parent needs is 45 books and no place to store them.
Additionally, we have created our own specifically designed songbook to target social interaction and language development. Stay tuned for the FREE DOWNLOADABLE PDF, coming soon!
If you're looking to purchase books for new parents, keep in mind these two important details: 1) durability and 2) size. You may want to go with the "board book" versions or "rag books," if available. The pages of board books are thick cardboard, which is more durable and easier to maneuver. Rag books have pages made of durable fabric and various textured materials. Added bonus, these types of books are slightly smaller and easy to store.
See the compiled list of books below. Feel free to email us if you have any others to add! Also, please note that some books appear across multiple categories because most books can be used for a variety of skills. Books truly are the most versatile learning tools!
